Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Tallo ("Tallo", "we", "us") handles personal information collected through tallopay.com and related forms. It covers the website only. When the Tallo POS launches, a separate policy will cover data processed through the product.

What we collect

• Information you give us: your email address, and optionally your venue name, current POS, phone number and other details you enter on our waitlist, demo or partner forms.
• Information collected automatically: basic technical data such as browser type, pages visited, referring page and approximate location derived from your IP address. We use this in aggregate to understand how the site is used.
• Calculator inputs: numbers you enter into the payments calculator are processed in your browser. If you share a result link, those numbers are included in the link itself.

We do not collect payment card information on this website.

How we use it

• To add you to the waitlist and email you about your spot, a demo, or Tallo's launch.
• To review and respond to partner applications.
• To improve the website and understand what venues need.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Who we share it with

We use service providers to run the site: hosting (Vercel), our database (Supabase), email delivery (Resend) and scheduling (Cal.com). They process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service.

We may disclose information if required by law, or as part of a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy will continue to apply.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist and partner information until you ask us to delete it, or until it's no longer needed for the purposes above.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from any email using the link in it. Depending on where you live — including California and other states with consumer privacy laws — you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to opt out of certain processing. Email privacy@tallopay.com and we'll respond within the time the law requires. We won't discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children

This site is for business owners and isn't directed to children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
