A few things worth knowing from Toast's own published terms.

What does leaving Toast cost?
It depends on your Toast agreement. Toast's merchant agreement says leaving early can mean paying the remaining subscription fees for your term, and any hardware you financed is still owed. Send us your Toast order form and we'll help you work out the cost — and whether it's cheaper to switch now or at renewal.
Can I use my Toast hardware with Tallo?
No — Toast devices only run Toast. Tallo runs on affordable Android tablets and phones with Tap to Pay built in. If you need readers or printers, we'll recommend options you buy outright.
What about my online ordering and gift cards?
Commission-free online ordering is on Tallo Plus. For outstanding Toast gift card balances, we'll help you plan the changeover so guests aren't left out.
Do I have to use Tallo Pay?
No. Keep any processor you like, on any plan, with no penalty.
What if I'm in the middle of service season?
We'll schedule go-live around your quietest day. Most venues switch on a Monday or Tuesday.
